Despite sparking significant opposition from residents, local planning authorities and field experts, plans have been resubmitted to build a large solar panel park on land adjacent to the Oxfordshire village of Ramsden. We ask for your show of support to protect us from this aggressive and persistent corporate investment venture.

Historical Importance

When voting against the plans, Oxfordshire County Council’s conservation officer stated that Akeman Street was "an important Roman road" and a major east-west route, linking Watling Street to Fosse Way. There were also nearby Bronze Age barrows and Iron Age remains. Source: Oxford Mail
